Late Night Ponderings: Super Bowl Ads

Why is it that all year long we pay extra for stuff (software, services, websites) we use to not see ads, but when the Super Bowl comes around, most people watch the Super Bowl just to see the ads?

Kiss It Mainstream Media

Normally I don't get involved in political things, but this is one of the few times that I have to cheer a politician on.

Former President Bill Clinton was on Fox news yesterday, and he finally told a reporter what needed to be said (Google Video Link,Transcript of the Conversation).  Go ahead, watch the video/read the transcript.  My rant will be waiting for you when you come back.

Ignore which political groups evil side he is on, because it doesn't matter in this situation.  I was too young at the time of his presidency to understand what's going on (really, there's alot about politics that I'm a complete idiot about), so I never had an opinion about him, except of what I gathered from people who knew more about politics than I did.

I'm glad that he finally told a reporter the truth about what he thought about them.  With the evolution of the internet, the purpose of the journalist/news reporter is steadily going the way of the candle maker.
